Valves

At Monroe Energy Services, we specialize in knowledge of the equipment, and know-how of what the equipment is designed to do in the offshore land drilling and production environment so that we can make your job easier from the start. Valves are the main component for flow controls. Below is a selection of types of valves used in various flow control requirements. All come in various sizes and working pressures and trims. These three requirements are needed up front in order to specify the correct valve for a particular application. The actuator type and if a surface or subsea application, is required to ship the completed assembly.

· Gate valve

· Gate valves

· Choke valves

· Ball valves

· Check valves

· Needle valves

· Piston valves

· Glove valves

· Diaphragm valves

· Butterfly valves

· Blind-blanking valves

· Various actuators for valves (hydraulic, pneumatic, manual)

· Various certification packages (API, DNV, etc)

When specifying the choke, upstream and downstream working pressures and flow characteristics are required to properly size the choke.
